Looking for answers about your cat? We are here to help.

At the Animal Clinic at Thorndale, we know cats can be difficult to understand. This page gives an alphabetical listing of our articles about cats. When you see your topic of interest, simply move your cursor on the title, click on it, and we will take you to the appropriate page. You can also type your topic in the search box to get a list of all related articles.

If you have a topic of general interest about cats that you would like added to the list, please email us at AnimalClinicAtThorndale@verizon.net and we will make every effort to add an article about your topic.  If you have any questions or would like a printed copy of a handout, or further information, please contact our veterinarians at 610-873-4091.

We would like to gratefully acknowledge Dr. Gary D. Norsworthy, DVM., DAVBP, for providing the original content upon which these handouts are based. We also recommend, for further reading on the topics above and on additional topics of interest to cat owners, that you follow this link to the Cornell Feline Health Center: https://www2.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics .   The Animal Clinic at Thorndale has been a supporting member of the Cornell Feline Health Center for many years. We often use their client information brochures and frequently refer clients to their site for more information on specific medical, surgical or behavioral issues and on the most up to date research findings in feline health. We encourage our clients to learn as much as they can by researching reputable information sites such as this.
